Keith B. Anderson
Auto Transmission Rebuilder

Keith Anderson and Brian Winograd have worked together doing transmission repair services since 1990.  Keith graduated from York Vo-Tech in the automotive technology shop in 1985 and has worked for Sears Automotive, AAMCO and Cottman Transmission, but he really learned the trade with renowned York County PA race car driver, Bobby Goodling.  Keith worked with Brian at the chain store in 1990 and was actually the one who advised Brian to open his own shop, saying that he would come along – Thanks, Keith!  What can one say about Keith?  He loves cats and also enjoys playing the guitar and video games.  He enjoys driving motorcycles and camping when he has spare time.  One day, he will grow up, but for now Brian is recording everything he does so he can sell it to NBC as a reality show.  Keith is married to Tammy, and they have five children of the “his, hers, and theirs” variety.  He has been trained by ATGS, ATRA and Steve Younger and has been OSHA certified for safety and environmental concerns.

Garrett Crockett

R&R Technician

Garrett came to Broadway Transmission & More in 2007 as the man who removes and installs the transmissions around the shop.  He has worked for AAMCO, Lee Myles Transmissions, and he has also done general automotive repairs.  Garrett also does our lifetime warranty brake work.  Mainly, he makes us laugh; and for that he will have job security.  He is our Mikey (Orange County Choppers) except that he works very hard too.  Ladies, he is still available too; and if you’re looking for a man with a good sense of humor, then Garrett Crockett is your guy.

Jim Ison

Jim is our “everything guy” who keeps it all going.  Need to get a part delivered?  Call Jim.  Need a transmission picked up from out of state or a torque converter for that last minute job picked up in Leola, PA before noon?  Call Jim.  He keeps our shop looking neat and clean – or as well as you would expect a transmission shop to look.  He keeps all the orders and returns flowing.  Perhaps most importantly, he keeps the porcelain throne clean for Keith and Garrett. 

Brian Winograd
Owner

Broadway’s self-proclaimed good looking genius grew up in the auto industry, seeing its many facets from new car sales, to finance, to parts to repair and finally to transmissions.  Brian was elected to be President of the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Pennsylvania (AASP-PA) by his peers in York and Adams counties for five straight years.  He is ATSG, ATRA and Steve Younger trained for both the technical and management sides of the auto transmission industry.  He has done consulting work for other shops since 1993, and he has also been used as an insurance adjustor and special witness as an expert in automotive matters in York County, PA courts.  Brian does things, not from a traditional business model, but through relationships. 

He is also the founder of “In His Service Ministries”.   He has pioneered churches, schools and orphanages and has spoken in churches in many states.  He has plans to do ministry in Africa, Italy and England in the upcoming years. 

Even with all that, Brian is still an everyday kind of guy and enjoys a good laugh.  So he enjoys coming into the shop most days to see Keith and Garrett as they are the source of so much fun and laughter.
